He is currently working as the Director and Head, Department of Critical Care Medicine at Fortis-Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, India. He is the founding chairman of Fluid Academy of India. He is a renowned teacher and academician in the field of critical care medicine with several peer-reviewed publications including book chapters and journal articles in national and international journals.
