Steven Brydon was healthy and energetic until he sustained an agonising injury in 2004. After several years of inactivity combined with depression, substance abuse and weight gain he took up the challenge to turn his life around. After several years of inactivity combined with depression, substance abuse and weight gain he took up the challenge to turn his life around. From his first tentative steps around suburban St Kilda, Steven took up an even greater challenge, a gruelling 250-kilometre ultra marathon across the Sahara to raise awareness of people living with autism.
