Steve Furst is a seasoned comedian, actor and writer. He is probably best known for his character in Little Britain and as the inept but eager assistant in the Orange Cinema campaign - alongside Spike Lee, Carrie Fisher and John Cleese; but to many Steve comes into his own as Lenny Beige, the self-styled 'king of cabaret'. Beige is a lounge legend: a high-kicking, cravat-wearing, perma-tanned old school entertainer. More with affection than irony, he mixes together a dash of Elvis, a large dose of Sinatra and a sprinkling of Roger Moore. Outside the cabaret lounge Steve has appeared in a string of sitcoms and topical comedy shows. TV credits include Absolute Power, Late Edition, Lenny Henry in Pieces and My Dad's the Prime Minister. He has also written for Chris Evans, Marcus Brigstocke and David Walliams. See less
