Stephennie Mulder is an associate professor of Islamic art and architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a specialist in Islamic art, architectural history, and archaeology. She has conducted archaeological and art historical fieldwork in Syria, Egypt, Turkey, and elsewhere.
