Life thereafter became an intense adventure, heaving up and down like seismic waves. Leaving high school to travel on the road with a rock band, he returned to Alaska to capture a degree in piano performance and then justice. He followed a career in both music and law and performed dozens of piano concerts, premiering his original pieces for piano solo where possible. Ultimately, the arts overcame pragmatism, and he allowed inspiration to move into the world of fiction. A task once started yearned for completion, and he was finally able to capture those images that would become Tusk. See less
