Stan Barstow

Born in 1928, the son of a Yorkshire coal miner, Stan Barstow worked as a draftsman until 1962 A Kind of Loving broke to sensational reviews, allowing him to become a full-time writer. Stan Barstow's many novels and short stories have been translated into nine different languages and adapted for countless productions. He is married with a son and daughter.
