Sindya Bhanoo's fiction has appeared in Granta, New England Review, Glimmer Train, and other publications. She is the recipient of an O. Henry Award, the DISQUIET Prize, an Elizabeth George Foundation grant, and scholarships from the Bread Loaf and Sewanee writers' conferences.
