Simon Bickerton has spent the last 28 years working in health and social care. Simon has worked as both a general and mental health nurse, and has also worked for a local authority, which has involved working in a mental health crisis service, managing mental health day services and then managing community based services for adults with learning disabilities. While working for the local authority Simon achieved the Certificate in Education and the Registered Manager / NVQ 4 in Management award. Simon now works as a freelance trainer. This involves working with a number of different services and organisations around the country, training staff and helping to develop the quality of services.
