Shelly Oria

SHELLY ORIA was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Israel. She won the 2008 "Indiana Review" Fiction Prize among other awards. She was recently a finalist for a grant from the Posen Foundation judged by Jonathan Safran Foer. A MacDowell Fellow in 2012, Shelly curates the series Sweet! Actors Reading Writers in the East Village, teaches fiction at Pratt Institute, and lives in Brooklyn. The author lives in Brooklyn, NY.
