Sheldon Oberman is an author, storyteller and teacher living in Winnipeg with his wife, Lisa. He is the father of 3 children -- Adam, Mira and Jesse -- and 12 books, including The Always Prayer Shawl, The Shaman's Nephew and The Wisdom Bird.
