Seth Gitner is Associate Professor of Magazine, News and Digital Journalism & Visual Communications at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, New York, where he teaches multimedia storytelling, photography, and video journalism classes. He has served as head of the Visual Communication Division for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), and he has served as a board member of the National Press Photographers Association. He has earned two life memberships for his work for the association.
