A 40-year Southern Nevadan, Dickensheets is the deputy editor of Desert Companion magazine. Before that, he was editor of Las Vegas CityLife, editor in chief of the Las Vegas Weekly, managing editor of Las Vegas Life magazine, and held various positions at the Las Vegas Sun, including assistant city editor, assistant features editor and columnist.
