Sandor Kopacsi
Sandor Kopacsi (1922-2001) was appointed police chief of Budapest in 1952. Imprisoned in 1958 for his role in the revolution, he was freed on amnesty five years later. Although he emigrated to Canada in 1975, Kopacsi spent the final eleven years of his life in Hungary.
