Samuel Green
Green is a native of Washington and resides on remote Waldron Island. In December 2007 he was named Washington State's first Poet Laureate. A distinguished poet and author of ten poetry collections, his work has appeared in numerous publications. He has been visiting poet and poetry teacher at Seattle University for several years and has been active with the Skagit River Poetry Festivals.
