Said Gaci received master's and Ph.D. degrees in geophysics from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algiers, Algeria, in 2002 and 2011, respectively. He worked in Sonatrach-Division Exploration as a Senior Geophysicist from 2004 to 2015. He joined IAP in 2015 as Head of the Development and Valorization Department (R&D Direction). His research interests include the application of signal processing and pattern recognition techniques in geosciences.
