Sébastien Reeber was born in 1971 in Strasbourg, France, and also studied there. He has been working for the SNPN (Société Nationale de Protection de laNature/National Society for Nature Protection) since he was 23, at the Lac de Grand-Lieu National Nature Reserve, near Nantes, and he is currently in charge of monitoring birds there (censuses, specific studies and ringing).
