Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, author S.R.W. Black's fondest memories took root on her grandparents' farm in central Ohio. She began writing poetry as a child and studied classical singing at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Her passion for language brought her to the University of South Alabama where she studied French Language and Literature.
