(IIT, Delhi), Fellow Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, worked as Divisional Engineer, Punjab Tube Wells Corporation. He held senior faculty positions at the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, including the post of Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, and the prestigious post of National Professor of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering of Indian Council of Agricultural Research at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He also held important international assignments in Sri Lanka, Iraq, Mozambiquue, and USA. In recognition of his outstanding contributions Dr. Khepar was given many awards and distinctions, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Award and the Rafi Ahmed Kidwi Prize of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi and the National Research and Development Council Award, Government of India.
