Ruth Wickings has been designing books for 20 years. She started playing with pop-ups while at art college in York when she saw Jan Pienkowski's haunted house pop-up book. She has concentrated on them ever since. Ruth has worked as a freelance designer for publishers and novelty book packagers. She loves working with books, as they give people enormous pleasure, as well as their ability to inspire and educate children.
