Ruediger Lamm

Ruediger Lamm is a professor at the Institute for Highway and Railroad Engineering of the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany, where he taught since 1969. Ruediger Lamm is a professor at the Institute for Highway and Railroad Engineering of the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany, where he taught since 1969. He was acting Dean (Sarparast) of the Engineering faculty of the University of Gilan, Rasht, Iran, and full professor at the faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York, USA. He was a member of many professional societies on a national and international level. Dr.-Ing. habil. Lamm received the 1993 Best of Session Award, given to him by Committee on Geometric Design from Transportation Research Board, National Academy of Science. He has been active in continuing educational programs and has served as a consultant to transportation agencies, for example in Germany, Greece and Japan. He has authored and co-authored more than 170 papers and research reports in the transportation field.
