Ruchama Feuerman

Ruchama Feuerman was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Her father is a third-generation American, born and raised in the South; her maternal family has lived in Casablanca for centuries. At seventeen, Feuerman moved to Israel, where she lived and taught for a decade. Dubbed a "Jewish Jane Austen" by Kirkus Reviews , Feuerman's novels have earned the praise of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal . Her stories and essays have appeared in many publications, including the New York Times .
