Rosie Nightingale Friesen lives on an acreage in rural Manitoba, although she was born and raised in warm, sunny California. She and her long-suffering husband have two sons and two living daughters, along with their beautiful Golden Retrievers (Sid and Rusty), two well-feed horses and a multitude of cats. She subscribes to the philosophy that your life, like a book, is far more interesting if it has many chapters. To that end, they have lived different places in Western Canada, held a variety of jobs, built their family through adoption as well as birth, and are always looking for the next adventure in life. The Barefoot Bideshi is her first book. It's moderate success had inspired her to live her dream of writing, with further books forthcoming. See less
