Rosalind Harris was born in Los Angeles, California. At a very young age her family moved to Compton. It was there that she was formally educated. She graduated from Compton High School with honors. Rosalind Harris was born in Los Angeles, California. At a very young age her family moved to Compton. It was there that she was formally educated. She graduated from Compton High School with honors. She received multiple scholarships to attend USC School of Petroleum Engineering from Rockwell International as the top student in the ACT program, USC School of Engineering Scholarship and California State Scholarship. She graduated in 1982 and was granted a commission into the U.S. Navy Officer Corps. While in the Navy, she received acceptance in the Civil Engineer Corps. She achieved the rank of Lieutenant, earned a Masters Degree in Acquisitions and Contract Management and is currently a reservist holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In 1994, Rosalind Harris resigned from active duty and accepted employment at the County of Ventura. She has received three promotions in her 10 years of employment. She held many positions, from Facilities Operations Specialist in charge of Jail Maintenance to Senior Program Specialist in charge of Security, Facility Operations, Special Events, Emergency Preparedness, Retail Services, Custodial, Solid Waste, and Landscaping. Rosalind has declined opportunities and will continue to because it is important to her to go where Jesus wants her to go, to work in a place where she can make a difference, to be in a position to serve. She currently resides in Thousand Oaks, California. Rosalind sings, plays the piano, writes, directs and produces music. She is a minister of music and is a licensed evangelist at Faith Tabernacle of Peace in Camarillo California and the author of Christian Relationships, Evangelism, What's Wrong with the Church, Christianity 101, Why are you Looking for a Vase When God has Given Clay?, and The Nephilim.
