Ronald G Bellar developed a passion for medieval fantasy while playing Dungeons & Dragons beginning in 1979, and he began writing after he read the likes of JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Robert Jordan's Wheel of time, and the Shanara series by Terry Brooks, amongst many others.
