Roman Polanski
Roman Polanski is one of the most important filmmakers of the 20th century. A Holocaust survivor, he studied at the famous L�d Film School in Poland. His first feature film, Knife in the Water , was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His film Cul-de-Sac won him a Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, and the enormous success of Rosemary's Baby confirmed his position as one of the key directors of his generation.
