Robert W. White was born in Vancouver, B.C. After he started showing signs of tuberculosis as a child, his family moved to the interior of British Columbia in the hopes the hot, dry climate would improve his health. Upper Louis Creek valley was a new experience for Rob. There were barns, guns, old farm machinery, and lots of room to roam. After meeting and marrying the Rose of his dreams, Rob settled in a small house on a ranch. Rob liked to ski, fish in the creeks, play golf, and of course write poetry. He spent his whole life in Kamloops and the Upper Louis Creek Valley. He had three children: Frank, Rosemary, and Shannon, who are all married and have families of their own. Rob's sister Velma was married to Jack Brady, and had two children, Barry and Brenda, who are also married and have children of their own. I dedicate this book to all my family and friends that I love so much. May you all live life to the fullest, stay safe and LOVE each other every day. See less
