Robert Phelps is the nom de plume of Fr. Bob Phelps, a 77-year-old Franciscan Capuchin friar and priest. He began writing seriously during a private retreat in the rain forest of Maui, in 1991, and has been bitten by the 'bug' ever since. He has poetry in several journals, such as the Evansville Review, the Nassau Review, Ruah, Concrete Wolf, Waymark and Chronogram.
