Robert J. Aalberts is the Lied Professor of Legal Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he has received numerous teaching and research awards. Professor Aalberts is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Real Estate Law Journal, where he has served since 1992, and an active member of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business and the American Real Estate Society. Prior to his academic career, he was an attorney for the Gulf Oil Company specializing in property issues related to oil and gas exploration. Professor Aalberts received his J.D. from Loyola University, his M.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and his B.A. from Bemidji (Minnesota) State University. See less
