Robert E. Scanlon P.E. The author earned a BSME from the University of Texas at Austin graduating in 1979, while employed by the University as a draftsman. After graduating Mr. Scanlon continued employment with UT as a Professional Engineer for 38 years where he designed and produced all manner of mechanical equipment and technical documentation for various Navy DOD contracts.
