Rob Farrleigh is in his late fifties - with the mind of a 38 year-old. His only regret is that his body lags some distance behind that mind now. Shy and diffi dent as a schoolboy in a boys-only grammar school on the south coast of England, he has given his curiosity and natural hedonism a steadily freer rein in adulthood in order to round off his education. He has done this by an unusual mix of normal relationships and visits to working girls of the courtesan kind, not as an "investigative reporter" but as a client. He blames his activities on what he sees as a combination of 50s and 60s Hollywood glamour and his own high sex drive. Writer, actor and academic, his teaching career has taken him to France and Switzerland, where he has now spent half his life chasing women and avoiding marriage, accumulating ever more interesting experiences with women of all kinds, who will never realise how important they are to him - or their clients. As well as writing, he has appeared on the stage and in films - and photo casebooks in the UK tabloid press. See less
