Rob Baum

Rob Baum has worked as performer, choreographer, critic, and dramaturg; her plays feature desirable roles for women. The author's post-doctorate on gender, gesture and ritual in the Middle East led her to teach and live in several countries. She is currently a lecturer at Monash University, where she is writing a book on gender and race. Besides her academic interests, she also performs as an aerialist in a women's circus.
