The product of this enterprise was the beautiful gemstone, sapphire. The stones were mined in the mountains of Montana, cut and polished in Sri Lanka and sold from the diamond district in New York City. This experience provided me with a rich background and a wealth of characters, enough to fill several books, allowing the fulfillment of a lifelong dream to write.
