Richard Hyatt

Richard Hyatt has been a newspaper journalist for more than 45 years. He continues to write regular columns for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and is also the author of 16 non-fiction books. His most is a biography of golf professional Fred Haskins. A native of Hoylake, England, Haskins worked at the Country Club of Columbus for more than 40 years. His prodigies won more than 150 amateur events in this country and abroad. Since 1971, the Haskins Award has gone to the nation's top college golfer.
