Richard D. Johnson is an assistant professor of management at the University at Albany, State University of New York. His research interests are human resource information systems, the psychological and sociological impacts of computing, computer self-efficacy, e-learning, and issues surrounding the digital divide. His research has appeared in several journals such as "Information Systems Research, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Journal of the Association for Information Systems", and the "International Journal of Human Computer Studies." He is a certified Human Resource Information Professional and teaches courses on human resources and HRIS as part of the University at Albany's nationally recognized MBA concentration on HRIS.
