Richard A Pride

Richard A. Pride is Associate Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. He is author of"The Burden of Busing: The Politics of Desegregation in Nashville, Tennessee", along with other books and articles on democratic mobilization. In 1993, Pride was named the Alexander Heard Distinguished Service Professor "for distinctive contributions to the understanding of problems of contemporary society."
