Reynold Higgins
Reynold Higgins was born in 1916. He studied at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and in 1947 was appointed Assistant Keeper in teh Department of Greek and Roman Antiquities at the British Museum. He became Acting Keeper of the Department in 1975 and retired in 1977. Dr. Higgins made a special study of Minoan and Mycenaean art adn worked at Mycenae, Knossos, Sparta and elsewhere in Greece.
