Rene H. Levy is Professor Emeritus of Pharmaceutics at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, where he founded the department of pharmaceutics and served as its chair for twentysix years. He was a faculty member of the department of neurological surgery for more than thirty five years. He has published hundreds of research articles mainly in neuropharmacology and co-edited several books. He has been named Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He recently received a lifetime achievement award for his work on the treatment of epilepsy. He is married with three children and lives in Seattle. See less
