Reea Rodney is a thirty-seven years old mother of two wonderful children, who resides in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Trinidad, which is a small Caribbean Island located in the West Indies, Reea migrated to the United States in 2006 in pursuit of a better life for her family, hoping that some day her kids would join her. Five and a half years later, Reea and her children were reunited at last. In addition to being a mom, Reea is also a full time Childcare Provider, or "Nanny,"and a Certified Medical Assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies. Reea has dedicated herself to adding joy, safety, trust, and most of all love to her extended families. Because of her passion for her work and her desire to help children, Reea was inspired to write children books. She wanted to assist not only the kids who were under her care, with the day to day issues they may be facing, but kids all over world. Her stories addresses topics such as adjusting to change, fear, separation anxiety, bravery, imagination, witty personality, love, compassion, and teamwork. These are all wonderful inspirations for a children book written from such a unique standpoint. Reea's motivation for writing "Juniper and Rose - Sisters First & Best Friends Forever" is directly related to the joy and satisfaction derived from two beautiful twin sisters who were under her care from 2010-2014. Observing them, reading to them, and taking care of their needs gave Reea incredible insight into how these children relate to their family members, each other and the outside world. The love that Reea gave to them and the love and joy that was returned to her act as catalysts for the words she ultimately put down on paper. "I know in my heart that my future lies in sharing my stories with children in every walk of life, all over the world." -Reea Rodney See less
