Red Steagall 's entertainment career has covered a period of more than half a century and has spanned the globe from Australia to the Middle East, South America, and the Far East. He has performed for heads of state including President Reagan at the White House in 1983. A native Texan, Red enjoyed a career in agricultural chemistry after graduating from West Texas A&M University with a degree in animal science and agronomy. He then became a music industry executive in Hollywood and has spent the last nearly sixty years as a recording artist, songwriter, and television and motion picture personality.
