Rachel Leone Gibson was born and raised in Livingston, Montana. After graduating from Park High School, she moved to Torrington, Wyoming to pursue a degree and a career in Veterinary Technology. Feeling that something was missing from her life, she returned to school to become a teacher. She has spent the past five years teaching third grade at Lingle-Fort Laramie Elementary School in Goshen County Wyoming. She is passionate about learning and is an avid reader. Writing has simply become a hobby she enjoys whenever she can find time between her family's busy academic and athletic schedules. Seven years ago she started the framework for Highland Peace for a college English project, but then put it aside upon graduation. She continued to tinker with it off and on during summer breaks and school holidays, gradually building up the courage to finish the book and get it published. With the continuous support of her husband John and two children Gage and Grace, she is thrilled to have reached this point. See less
