Rachel Basinger

Rachel Basinger teaches history and other humanities classes to ninth and twelfth graders at a small private school in Williamsburg, Virginia. She received a bachelor's degree in history from Hillsdale College in 2014. She received a bachelor's degree in history from Hillsdale College in 2014. Many of the elective classes she took focused on modern history, and she wrote two undergraduate theses on Spanish anarchism and national identity in Spain and France, including in Alsace-Lorraine which had to deal with sometimes conflicting French and Prussian identities just like Karl Marx's Rhineland. A history buff, she loves to study nineteenth- and twentieth-century history, especially the World Wars and the Cold War. See less
