R David Skinner

R. David Skinner, PhD, was born and raised in Lexington, MS. The youngest of seven children, he first served in the United States Air Force before sensing a call to ministry. Dr. Skinner pastored for many years before he joined the faculty of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary as one of its earliest faculty members. Beloved by his students, he served as a professor in three academic departments and retired after serving as the academic vice president of the entire institution.
