She lives in London and also finds time to be a conservation volunteer with the South East Rivers Trust: "I'm often to be found on the River Thames in a coracle, skiff or punt, looking out for passing bats, cormorants and wagtails." She is the illustrator of Wings! by Paul Stewart.
