Philip Rowe obtained a BSc in Physiology & Biochemistry at Reading then an MSc in Steroid Endocrinology at Leeds and a PhD at Liverpool University. Then held a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Liverpool working on the pharmacokinetics of oral contraceptives.
