Peter Van Mastricht
Peter Van Mastricht (1630-1706) was born in Cologne, Germany in 1630. He was educated at the University of Utrecht, and held pastorates in Xanten and Gluckstadt, Germany, as well as various areas in Denmark, before accepting a position as professor of Hebrew and practical theology at Frankfurt, and later at his alma mater. His writings were praised by Jonathan Edwards and Cotton Mather, to name just a few.
