Peter Steinhauer

Steinhauer was born in 1966, two weeks after his father left to serve in the Vietnam war. He graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in 1993 with a degree in photography. He moved to hanoi the same year and has lived in Vietnam ever since. In 1996, he won the Communication Arts award for outstanding photography from his "Portraits and Landscapes" projects.
