Peter Clifton is a retired market researcher who worked for part of his career in Brussels. He now lives with his wife Anne in the Cotswolds near Oxford. Peter walked to Rome from London via Canterbury, Dunkirk, Brussels, Paris, Geneva and Florence in 2001, so the blistered part of the route was the same as Daisy's and her friends'. Peter walked to Rome from London via Canterbury, Dunkirk, Brussels, Paris, Geneva and Florence in 2001, so the blistered part of the route was the same as Daisy's and her friends'. But his four sons (all working in TV and entertainment, by the way) have known a Europe at peace throughout their life, and it has been wonderful. Did peace just happen?
