Petah Coyne

Petah Coyne was born in Oklahoma City, 1953. She was educated at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Kent State University, Ohio. Coyne is known best for her use of contrasting materials and found objects to build sculptures. She has had solo exhibitions at P.S. 1, Long Island City, New York; the Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York and The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.
