Peggy Warren has been a writer and a painter most of her life, starting with art classes at the Toronto Museum of Art where she excelled at the age of sixteen. She went on to study both passions over the years with many notable teachers in Canada and the US. She formed her own publishing company as a result of needing a gift for a friend. She gathered a selection of her lifetime of poetry and drawings on sheets of paper, rolled them up and tied them with a red ribbon. Her tearful friend called her and said, You have to publish these poems and drawings, Peggy. They're every woman's feelings. She did just that and went on to sell 20,000 copies. After moving to the US with her husband, Ted, she went on to write and publish more books that can be seen on Amazon as well as her website www.womensreads.com. After thirty years of living in a 100 yr old log cabin in the Colorado Mountains, Peggy was widowed. She moved to Boulder where her only mate now is her Ragdoll pussycat, Joey. She has three grown children and two grandchildren. One of her paintings can be seen on the cover of Very Much a Woman's Book. See less
