Dr. Patricia Gillan is a sex therapist and clinical psychologist who trained at London University, where she was a lecturer in physiology and internationally known for her research on women's sexual responses. She and her psychiatrist husband Richard are co-authors of Sex Therapy Today. She is an honorary principal psychologist at the Maudsley Hospital Sex Clinic and is also in private practice.
